Hi, I'm pretty new to these forums and haven't posted but once or twice. Recently, I had a knock-down drag out with my old lady. Nothing new, but this time a little different. Skip forward a little and she starts breaking shit and I leave. Like I said, nothing new, but this time different. So, I come back home after a couple hours of calming my nerves to find that everything in the house is gone. Everything of value anyway. My computer, my jewelry, tv, etc. all gone. Things are broken everywhere and nobody's home. First thing I thought was a burglary, and start freaking because my wife and child are gone, but then I see a note saying she did it and she doesn't wanna be with me anymore. Needless to say, I'm a little angry. She took all of my posessions including $500 for the rent. Everything is gone or broken (she cut a brand new pair of jordans in half). So, I leave and haven't heard from her since. I've been in a state of quasi-deppression and binge-drug abuse. I'm sure I haven't handled the situation correctly, but I just don't know what else to do. Honestly, I'm trying to vent a little but would also like a little input from some of the older males on the boards. Maybe someone else has been through this situation, but being only 19, it's kinda hard on me. Thanks for any help.

I believe your first problem was getting married at nineteen. My fucking head exploded when I read that.

Anyways, just get a lawyer and sue her. It should scare her into giving most of the shit back. Then you'll probably wind up having to give most of your shit to her anyway pending a divorce.

Well, 19 is too young to be married and have a kid. Live a little.

The property and everything else destroyed or taken will have to be resolved by a judge when you get divorced.

When a relationship is over there is nothing you can do to change that.
Getting back together no matter how many times youve heard it doesnt work because when you go back you go back to a dirty slate.

When things come to this point in a relationship it is due to resentment that has occured over a period of time.


You cant go back because there is only now and the future. What is done is done. So dont think with enough time she will see the light because going back means:
