If you paid for it through itunes or something like that, or even uploaded your own CDs that you bought, i would sue the repair company for however much your music was worth. Get your money back. One way or another.

You can get it back. If you're tech savvy enough, follow this: Put your hard drive in another PC and transfer the files off your hard drive. I really don't understand what happened. If they somehow got deleted, you can get them back using a file recovery program. When things are deleted, they are just hidden from the OS. Until they are written over, you can get them back easily.

My ex changed the password on our comp when he was drunk and forgot it,apparently there was noway round it so I got a friend who was meant to be good with comps and he worked it so I had windows 2000 but he had lost everything on the comp.I then let someone put a copy of windows on here but I didnt know it was illegal and when I went to a microsoft site it stopped me using it and I lost my stuff again.I am all good now but I am still pissed about the music and if I had let my ex loose on them there would of been murder.
