It is incredibly stupid to have unprotected sex..people lie..and some..they KNOW they have the disease..and yet keep spreading the disease..not only AIDS but other stds. Sure its easy to get checked out..but it has to be done on a reguar basis and why take the chance? You said NOBODY HERE thinks that unprotected sex is safer than using a condom? Have you not read the entire thread? Or just my post? Yes there ARE some that do believe that..you yourself just asked why not have unprotected sex..was that a contradiction or just ignorance?

Snapping? Why would you say that? Because I continue to post my views and FACTS on unprotected sex? Why would you even care about my post? Did you not read this thread to see where I am coming from? Must not have seeing as you asked a personal question about my sex life instead of actually reading why I feel as I do. The Global Health Organization is a great site to educate on this disease that is killing millions and infecting millions more every year. The best way to stop HIV and AIDS is to use condoms during vaginal or anal sex..that is a FACT. Its funny you very seldom even acknowledge me on this board but when you do you make the accusation of me snapping at people with the insinuation it is only me on this thread lol..why? As I said read the entire thread before you ask me a personal question about my sex life..ALL of my experiences with this disease has been in treating those unfortunate enough to first get HIV then watch over the years as their immune systems fail and it becomes full blown AIDS..so YES I do have personal experience with HIV/AIDS..as I stated in this thread in previous posts. It would have been nice if you had just debated..but you singled me out for "snapping" at everyone else from the get go Sensi..not quite right imo. People lie..its a fact..and when your in love or just want to "feel good" we ALL do stupid things but there are some that knowingly pass this disease on to others out of hatred..Oh! And please remember if you ever have a blood transfusion..make sure it is a Country that have laws in place to test the actual blood before you receive it..and never share needles. Unprotected Sex doesn't just affect the ones doing it..it affects the entire world....even virgins,children,married people etc...that have no control over how they got the disease.....when we have sex or share needles etc...we are making the choice..so choose right.

I thought that if you only knew the word argument as a synonym of debate, you could still use the context to realise that I was using it in the same way the word assertion can be used. I've used both in this thread.

Yes, if someone knows they have an STD it would be incredibly stupid to have unprotected sex. It would be irresponsible on their behalf, and for all they know they could be exposing themselves to more diseases. I get that.

I was talking about committed, monogamous relationships, where both partners know they are clean. If neither partner is sleeping with other people, then STD's couldn't be introduced, and they wouldn't need to be checked regularly. Therefore, if those people want to have unprotected sex, I don't understand why they shouldn't. Please explain to me how you think there could be a risk involved there.

I said that nobody here thinks unprotected sex is safer than using a condom because I think you've misinterpreted their posts as you did mine. It's blatently obvious that unprotected sex is never safer than using a condom, but in the example I gave I think it would be just as safe because I don't think there would be a risk involved at all.

Finally, yes I have read the whole thread, with increasing levels of frustration. I really, truly, honestly don't understand why you can't concede that unprotected sex between monogamous, clean partners is not going to be a risk to them. From where would either one catch an STD?
