I know drooping can be caused by overwatering so im gonna give it a few days without water, but can it also be caused by being rootbound? thanks.

Are there drainage holes on the pot? If so, are the roots at all visible; are they sticking out at all? That's typically the severe cases of rootbinding -- when the roots are literally poking out of their medium.
It's probably overwatering.

plants frequently droop a bit after transplanting, from the shock, ... also, if your buckets are black, like mine, paint them white, I used plain cheap white latex paint ... black pots get hotter than hell in the sun ... :smokin:

You will know if you overwatered? Is your bucket heavy.. DO you let it become very very lifght before you water..?
I doubt it is overwatering if you transplanted three days ago and that was the last time you watered.
