    Experiment 1

Well Iā??ve grown for about two years on and off and gathered to me a large amount of info... I also have a large love of "how things grow" and why so I decided to do a few experiments to test some of my idea and some things Iā??ve heard and the first one starts off in seed form.

Well to my knowledge everyone has there own way to do everything as usual. Put lets put some of these methods to test. If you have any other things you want me to try Iā??d be happy to.

All my seeds are from the same plant so there no worrying about that.
I took 40 seeds and put 10 seeds in a damp paper towel, 10 seeds in a cup of water, 10 seeds in damp cotton balls and 10 seeds just put right in mother earth. All the dirt is the same and the pot sizes are all the same. The only difference is the way the seeds are prepared.

So any takers on what might happen I am all ears............Iā??ll keep everyone posted

P.S. anyone got any good experiments they have in mind

As soon as this get a little older im going to do some more experiments with them. But if i think they can handle it i clone them and run a few tests for you.

I have tried paper towels and after having run out one time I used unbleached coffee filters. I soak in tea for 24 hours and put in damp coffee filters. The closed weave keeps the roots from getting a hold on the paper. Happy accident. I've never gone back.

How about an update Militarysmoker? what was the ratio to how many seeds germinated in what.....i personally use cottonballs, and they seem to work great for me.

If you can find this chem in your area, Thiocarbomide; just germed 6/6 in less than 20 hours with a quick soak, then paper towel method.

I too like the earth because I dont have to handle baby rootsystem and worry about damaging them or drying them out.

but I think they should all work about the same in the end :-)
