Hey, I'm guessing you at least get nice warm weather and blue skies, which is more than I can say for us.
Imagine waking up EVERY day to dull grey overcast skies, strong icy winds and miserable drizzly rain. It's so fucked up you feel depressed the minute you wake up and you dont want to even go outside

Geauga lake is about 15 minutes from my house...no longer a 6 Flags...Cedar Point bought it, and turned it back to Geauga Lake. Great waterpark...not as good as Cedar Point--but not as crowded either.

I am old (compared to you all, I am sure)...but I'll agree, there isn't much to do here. Now, if you like to camp, head up to the islands on Erie, to Put-In-Bay...reminds you of the Keys...very beachy, loads of nightlife, AND they have the longest bar in the world. LOL

I wouldn't say Ohio is the worst--we've lived in 5 states in 6 years. East Tennessee had to be at the bottom there. Or maybe Indiana... Definitely no desire to ever to go back to either. We are in between Akron and Cleveland now...so at least I got to go to my first NBA game, and watch the Cavs beat the Wizards. Yes, that has been the highlight of the two years since we've moved here.

Irieallie is right, the put in bay area is pretty cool up by lake erie has some cool stuff to do, we got a boat docked up there and its nice to take it out

Yes, Ohio does suck. My step father and his family are from Dayton. That area wasn't too bad. I used to enjoy going out to the Wright Patterson museum for the airshow. But outside of that, there rarely seemed like there was anything to do there. Anytime a business trip comes up to travel to Ohio, I always decline.
