Yeah I have a teacher that reminds us nearly everyday of how his life was ruined by a single joint, that accumulated into alcoholism and other drugs along with dropping out etc.

He is quite fond of admitting the irony of becoming a teacher after all of that as well...

Sure gets tiresome, but what can you do but just grimace and shake your head in disbelief.
