What do your parents do to annoy you?

mom:borrows money
asks my friends to carry stuff/move stuff/build stuff
sticks her nose in where it doesn't belong
belittles me for smoking when she does it her damn self and just hides it from me

Dad-keeps trying to get me to move away from my mom to the country where I would have to start over completely because he thinks my life is fucked up. It is fucked up...but the good parts are worth it. And he doesn't see that and theres no convincing him otherwise.
Also he drinks and then calls me and talks at me about how much he hates my mother for up to two hours at a time.

my mom is moving to florida in a few weeks which is all the way on the other side of the country. shes going to take care of her parents but im gonna miss her and i kinda resent the fact that shes leaving me with my dad only 1 month after i turn 18. but she didnt have a very good life because i was such a shitty child. i stole money from my parents, i broke alot of stuff that was really important to both of my parents. and im sure that this contributed to my parents divorce last year.


mmmmmm i made myself feel like shit.......i hate thinking that im the reason my parents lives are so shitty, but i know that its all my fault. but now i wanna spend my life making alot of money and giving my parents the things they always wanted, like a vehical that doesn't have ANY problems, a nice house to retire in and i dont care if i have to go into debt and work for the rest of my fuckin life because ive made the world a pretty crappy place for alot of people, and now im suffering for it.

My mums slooowly turning into an alcoholic and she's a cheating wore who only care's about gettin money, she's got MY dla and carers alouncence money, and she never even bothers to make an effort to talk to me anymore. She's also fat and embarssing to have for a mother.

We all have it, those little (or big) things our parents do that just annoy the hell out of us, or embarass us, or downright anger us. Feel free to vent here whatever it is your parents do that you hate. Even if it's not a big thing, or something that shouldn't bother you but it does. We'll compare.

- one thing that bugs me, my mom does this really annoying thing when we're watching television. The only shows my brother and I watch now are new episodes of House, Prison Break, Simpsons, Family guy, American dad, and King of The Hill. So basically Sunday and Monday we catch the new stuff. And every time we're catching one of the new episodes, we're right in the middle of some important plot developement and she'll come into the room and basically:

"oh.. hey guys..... um..... Just letting you know...... that.... I want your brother in bed around... oh.... 10:00 tonight. So... yeah, you know.... around ten.... make sure you brush your teeth..... be quiet when you come up the stairs.... and.... um... yeah..... so, uh.... make sure you do that.... and uh.... ten O'clock anyway...... you dad set up the coffee pot...... so... ya know, don't worry about setting up the coffee pot......"

argh! she'll just go on like that for 5 minutes, right in the middle of the show, just dragging everything out as slowly as she can possibly go, and saying absolutely nothing. and of course if we say anything like "mom, we really dont' want to miss this" she storms out all mad, so most of the time we don't say anything and just try to listen to the show as she goes on and on about absolutely nothing.

And my dad... well he just seems a little cooky. He doesn't seem to be racist, tons of his favorite musicians, sports stars, writers, etc. are all sorts of races, he's had tons of friends of every race, he grew up with native kids, but he makes a point of using only deragetory racial terms. Everybody who's not white he calls a nigger, sand nigger, towel head, gook, chink, and every other offensive name for every race. And he won't censor himself at all when I have friends over. luckily I've known them all for 10 years now and they know him and don't care anymore, but anybody new comes over and he's just casually talking about "some nigger" or whatever. it's so bloody embarrasing.

Your mom is just feeling left out, invite her to watch WITH you, dont try and shoo her out of the room you brat!

well trust me sometimes my mom is the exact same way. she gets drunk alot and her boyfriend really pisses me off because hes got a really bad temper, i HAVE to be gone on sundays and mondays because thats their alone time together.........

flipping out a bit there God v2.0? I didn't say I hated my mother and she's terrible, I just found that one particular thing annoying, as we all have something. And I find it annoying because she ignores us most of the day, then chooses when we're right in the middle of something we didnt' want to miss to interrupt and start going on about nothing. It's still inconsiderate.

and i never flipped out, i never directly insulted anyone here so maybe you should realize that you can tell a persons demernor or tone of voice when you read their posts, i like to think that if i were saying it out loud then i would be calm and comanding and not flippin out.

when i post alot of all caps words it usually means i want u to think im screaming or yelling that.

but did you even read my post? maybe you should give ur mom a little attention. when you sit there and veg out in front of the fucking idiot box for hours maybe it makes her worry, im sure that she has a reason and i SERIOUSLY doubt that shes actually trying to be annoying on purpose. i bet shes lonely, when her kids wont even take 10 seconds to aknolege her.

so from your post it seems like you're getting mad because your mom wanted to say something to her but you just ignore her and watch TV. next time she does it just turn off the TV say okay mom goodnight, i love u very much. or something like that and see if she acts any different.

i know that if i was telling u something and you ignored me because you were watching TV i would take that damn thing and chuck it out into the road then beat the fuck outta it with a baseball bat, if that didnt get your attention then it would be getting smashed over ur head next lol
