What I plan to do is cut a 4" hole in each of the 2"x6" that I used for my side base for my grow room on the front left corner, and rear right corner (doesnt matter), and then sit a carbon filter on a shelf right next to fan, then feed my fresh air in thru 4" PVC Pipe, using 3 T's that come up flush with floor. I'll router out square holes where each T is and fabricate some mesh grates to keep whatever from getting into my piping. (I like this idea, by the way). Now, I guess what I am asking is this: Does a 6" Fantech Fan, for example, both suck and blow air ? Or would I need one to draw fresh air thru carbon, and another to move it thru my PVC ? It will only be 8' long, and there will only be 3 T's on each on pipe (front and back of room). I looked around for a few hours yesterday, but never really found the answer specific to my question, so I would appreciate any info y'all may have.
