It goes from hard rap to mellow trance! WTF?? I almost dazed off by the end.

Yo, I've heard that before - DJ Krush, DJ Shadow, UNKLE. It's one of those, I'm pretty sure that's DJ Shadow. Dude, seriously don't copy the exact same beat and claim that you made it. That shit is stealing and extremely lame. I can understand using samples but come on - it's like it's the same song, you didn't change anything besides adding the scratching in the beginning.

its not the same song but alright, your thinking of DJ Shadow by the way cause I have alot of dope shit from his songs.....you can post up the song you think it sounds like if you want, I think your thinking of Building Steam with a grain of Salt by DJ Shadow......one thing you should know about shadow is the cd this came from is basically all made with vinyl he found in old shops and shit so in a way im doing the exact same thing as that....where would djs be if they didnt use other peoples shit....nowhere cause they wouldnt have records.

Maby it would sound better if I put a different drumline er whatever in cause the one thats in it right now is the one that DJ Shadow used for the song Changeling.

yea, you should change the drums. I feel you on that, sampling is essential. It's just that the songs sound too similar for me. You gotta do something with it if you're going to use the same melody. There has to be something new incorporated to it otherwise it's still DJ Shadow and not 3rdeyevision
