Are you a ritual toker?

Well, are you a ritual toker? I know I am. I do the same thing just about everytime I solo toke or when I toke with my friends. This ritual usually involves seating placement, entertainment, and lots of other stuff (too busy toking to list all right now).

I know there are ritual tokers out there, go ahead and share yours while I finish my bowl out.

yeah totally, i roll, then make the tea and a munch, eat my munch, then toke while guzzlin my tea lol

Yeah I suppose, but for me it's more of a problem then a cool thing. It just gets boring if you don't mix it up a bit, and you definitely lose some of the magic of the high if you do the same thing all the time.

That's why I like smoking outdoors during the day when time allows, since even if you go to the same place, nature is always different. But I do most of my smoking during the semester in my room at night, alternating between these activities:
1. headphones in the dark
2. making art (with music in the background)
3. making music (guitar, keyboard, drums, native american flute, trippy effects... i alternate between instruments too)
4. being online
5. something else

But even with alternating, it gets to be kind of dull so I look forward to the summer when I can smoke with my friend and always be doing something different.

The "ritualistic" part that I DO like is packing the bowl, taking my time, blowing the smoke, etc. And I use my own homemade pipes which is cool, cause I can select the appropriate one for the occasion.

yah I am more so I think when I'm driving.
I've just done everything so many times I don't even think about it.
I sit down in my truck and just start grabbing and packing, lol.

my night time tradition got to be such a typical habit, that I would sit down and be smoking a bowl without even thinking about it. After a few hits I would drift back from spacing out to realize I was smoking. Needless to say I changed things up after that

i take ritual tokes by exhaling every breath i can, and relaxing my lungs, to allow them to inhale some oxygen, but i dont INhale, i just relax my lungs, then slowly inahe using my mouth, neck, then chest before fully inhaling with my lungs.


at first it's harsh, and if im too fast, the initial puff is too much, and i cant finish the ritual by holding in the hit untill i need oxygen.

I also don't understand the inhaling without using your lungs thing. But it sounds interesting.

So im at work and i cant wait to leave. I usually stare at the clock from 7:59 to 8:00. Speed going like 80 down the 17. go strait to my spot. Offsite. Open the cabinet i hung. Choose between my glass on glass bubbler or my 2" chameleon bong. I get my bag, get my sweatleaf grinder. Dump my grinder out in my lead glass ashtray. Toke toke toke. any questions
