"That's a good question! You could say if so many Americans hate Bush, why is he still your president."

That's a good counter question. The problem is that it doesn't answer the original question, and makes it look as if your trying to hide from the original question.

"This might shock your little mind but not a single Brit I know supported the war on Iraq."

This might shock your large mind, but I know some Brits that do support the war in Iraq.

"There's a rather large difference to how the government run this country and how the public rather it be ran."

I see! And you think that the way the US government is run is the way most Americans want it to be run?

" If it were the way of the people of Britain, we would've screwed up your invitation to go to war and thrown it in your face, whether we knew or not how much appreciated our help was."

If I was you, I would be more worried about this then I was about the US. You seem to be letting them fuck you, and all you can do is bitch about US. I would think that you would be more interested in fixing your problems, and that one seems to be a big one, then in seeing how insulting you can be to US. I suppose some peoples prioritys differ quite a bit. If you can't control your own government, what the hell are you doing trying to tell US about ours for?

"Not that we can blame old Tony for sucking up to Bush. Had he declined, as he probably wished, you guys'd be at our throats right away as much as you are at Iraq's."

Oh yeah, we had to twist his arm real hard. ROTFLMAO! You might kid yourself with that BS, but I ain't buying it.

"You're certainly the most powerful country in the world but it's only for your own selfish good, that's the only place your blind patriotism lies."

Blind patriotism comes in a lot of forms. Your excusing Tony is blind patriotism. More then mine is, that's for sure. I don't make excuses for bushy, as I don't think there is any that could excuse his abuses. Am I patriotic? Yes, I am, but not in the negitive way you try to portray it as.

"Anyway, don't get me wrong. I love Americans, I think they're a very friendly people, but the worlds a lot bigger then your country."

I love it when people think that their view of the world is so much grander then others based on where they come from. It shows a real maturity and open mindedness to assume they somehow see more of the world then others do. Way to build yourself up there man. I guess since your so worldly I will just have to take your word as gosple truth from now on.

I come across as an ass, but if you want to have a decent abuse free conversation, I can do that also. I prefer to talk with people that dissagree with me. You can learn from that. You can't learn from people that just agree with you.
