Where are y'all?
Yeah, I do believe I hold the record on these boards for longest break taken. It was right at 22 years from the time I last smoked in college or grad school to the time I smoked again this summer with my sister.
Thanks for the advice, guys. If I go through this experience again, I'll definitely get a bong and do the ice-water thing or invest in a good vape. The little hemp filters worked very well in the joints, and these days, my sister's not smoking at all any more. She's so sick now that she no longer feels like it, and even mild coughing hurts her insides where the tumor growth has taken over. I've not even attempted to obtain more weed because this summer's effort really was a medical thing for her. That might be different if the stuff weren't illegal and weren't so darn hard to find and risky and shady to buy. . . but right now, it still a prohibitive and dangerous hassle. Sad to say, but I'm already in progress on my next break. Let's hope this one'll be shorter than 22 years!birdgirl73 Reviewed by birdgirl73 on . Where are y'all? Where are all of you Texas folks? It's been really quiet on this board, and I think it'd be fun to get some conversation going. I'll mention here that I've smoked this week for the first time in about two decades, and it's been really nice. Originally got some herb for medicinal reasons to help my sister, who's sick from chemo, and it has made a big difference in both her appetite and her nausea. It's had the opposite effect on me in appetite (which is a good thing), but that may also Rating: 5\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"
