    Tobacco Smoke

Tobacco smoking alone kills more people each year than AIDS, heroin, crack, cocaine, alcohol, car accidents, fire and murder combined. Tobacco smokers have ten times the lung cancer of non-smokers, twice the heart disease, and are three times more likely to die of heart disease if they develop it. One in seven deaths in the United States is caused by cigarette smoke, and while 7 million dollars a day promotes the tobacco business, it is estimated that the cigarette industry needs about 3,000 new smokers a day to replace those who quit or die each day from smoking. Not only is tobacco non-fibrous, non-edible, and soil-depleting, but it is grown by law in soil fertilized with radioactive materials. U.S. government studies have shown that smoking a â??pack-and-a half of tobacco cigarettes per day over just one year is the equivalent to your lungs of some 300 chest X-rays, but while an X-ray dissipates its radioactivity instantly, tobacco has a radioactive half-life that will remain active in the lungs for 21.5 years. No radioactivity exists in Cannabis. Tobacco smoking is far and away the number one cause of preventable death in the United States today, yet it is totally legal, and even receives the highest U.S. government farm subsidies of any agricultural product in America

This was taken from the Emperor Wears No Clothes by Jack Herer, my question is if tobacco is grown by law in soil fertilized with radioactive materials; if weed is ever finally legalized, wouldnt they just take the same approach as they did with tobacco, thus causing a potentially bigger problem than we have now?

Eh, I'd like to see the actual studies, radioactive properties in the soil? Sounds a little far fetched. I mean out governments hate us but that much?

i really dont think people understand the extent to which our government goes to create such a demonic image for our country, as well as to ensure that our future is dominated by mindless authoritarianism that has been getting worse since the marijuana tax act started the war on drugs in 1937... and not only are the people in charge fully aware of what they are doing, but theyre trying to get the rest of the world to follow suit

Damn right, it's great though, through all of the lies and their bullshit, a ton of which has been exposed and published in papers and broadcast on tv, no one seems to care anymore. They just expect corruption from their leaders now, it's just normal.

Man if this were the sixties we'd totally have gay sit-in's and ton more protesters or at least the 80's then we'd have a bunch of cool riots. But nope, we're stuck here in the 00's where no one gives a shit anymore.
