Are the English captivated by joints?

personally my favorite is the best of both worlds, we call it "dick in the bush"

roll a blunt or fat ass joint to the size where it will fit in your bong stem without the bowl piece and fire away

shit gets you smashed with a quickness

OK, sorry to be dumb here, but I'm new to the world of grass since recently buying some for my sister, who's sick with chemo, and trying it again myself for the first time in years. I know what a joint is, and that's how we're smoking this. For folks who don't roll good Js, which is true of me, a little rolling machine works wonders.

I know what a blunt is and that it's a different sort of smoke in a different shape than a joint (also with different paper), but I guess I don't understand the "why" of a blunt. Doesn't it just use up more herb than a J in a straight shape? Why do folks smoke blunts instead of joints?

And what's a spliff? Like I said, excuse the dumb nature of these questions, but I'm still learning all the terminology . . . .

Spliff is still a joint. Same as a doobie.

Not trying to be an arse or anything, but for terms to do with drugs, try typing it in www.urbandictionary.com
You get a lot of different views on what the term means depending on what part of the world the poster is from.

Not everyone who is British is obsessed with joints. During my senior year of high school (fun times) we had a foreign exchange student from England. She was in my Econ class and eventually we started talking. One day our talks led to weed and we found a mutual ground and liking. I invited her to go toke with me. I made a joint and brought it with me and she absolutely hated it. She felt it was too much wasted and that bongs where the best way to get high. I couldn't have agreed more but i had just one problem, i had no bong available. Well i learned my lesson when toking with her and always brought my bong. I still keep in touch with her (nothing happened between us, sad for me she was good looking) and she is talking about coming back to the states to talk to some people again. Yeah, a old friend coming back. Time to get some more of that sweet erb. :rasta:

Kush, I love it when I hear about the Herb bringing and uniting people together. Its one of the few things that can unite blacks, hispanics, asians, indians, japanese, chinese and caucasian people.

With a bong, its too much hassle, and it gets you too baked.
I used to be into all that when I was like 14-16 but now my aim isnt to get totally wasted - I just want to mellow out a bit and joints are perfect for that. plus its cool to pass them round:stoned:

id like to pass you around you little minx.....................
