Time is Artificial
so the fact that cells start to slow down reproduction is all in our head? Funny, I thought that it was nature. I'm pretty sure cavemen didn't know shit about time and I'm pretty sure they still died old hairy monkey-men. Not bashing your theory though. It's true that you can live past your expected timeline by living a happy healthy life, but you'll still get old and die one day. Long story short, live like there's no tomorrow, but plan for next year.

Without knowing how fast time goes by, could we still psychologically set up the rate at which our bodies age? If we did not know our real age, could we have a mid-life crisis? How would we know when to retire? When to "slow down"? If you didn't know your age, how could you be concerned about the fact that the average age of males in the U.S. is 68 and females 72?
