Time is Artificial
I've always wondered what it would be like to live in a world without any sense of time. Without knowing how fast time goes by, could we still psychologically set up the rate at which our bodies age?
If we did not know our real age, could we have a mid-life crisis? How would we know when to retire? When to "slow down"? If you didn't know your age, how could you be concerned about the fact that the average age of males in the U.S. is 68 and females 72?
The answer probably is that you wouldn't know. If you didn't know how old you were, you may never have a mid-life crisis. You would probably retire when you felt like it, and you may never slow down. Just think about the fact that if you never knew the average age at which you could expect to die there is no way you could target your own death.
People that "target" their own deaths often do things, mostly subconsciously, to ensure that their beliefs become reality.
If you firmly believe that you will not live far past the age of 65, will having this attitude help you live longer? It's hard for me to think so.
But what if you had the firm belief implanted in your mind that you are destined to live past the age of 100? If this thought or belief was deep within us, might our bodies follow suit?
The rate at which our bodies age is not determined by time. It is determined by our minds. We should not think of ourselves in terms of a number or an "age."
We should make our judgements based on our physical condition (how we feel). That old cliche "you are as young as you feel" is in fact the truth.
We must begin to think of ourselves as a timeless human being that is existing on this Earth according to the whims of our own minds and perspectives, and not by the whims of artificial clocks and calenders.
Remember, time is really nothing more than an illusion. Your mind can make you young...or old.

so the fact that cells start to slow down reproduction is all in our head? Funny, I thought that it was nature. I'm pretty sure cavemen didn't know shit about time and I'm pretty sure they still died old hairy monkey-men. Not bashing your theory though. It's true that you can live past your expected timeline by living a happy healthy life, but you'll still get old and die one day. Long story short, live like there's no tomorrow, but plan for next year.

lol wour minds dont determine our age, ageing is caused by free-radicals in the body and are caused by just being alive and breathing and doing what we do everyday. this is the basic wear and tear that our bodies recieve, anti oxidants and other chemicals are thought to slow down this process and help people live longer. But the bottom line is that your life span is determined by how we treat our physical bodies.
first of all people werent designed to last past age 40 normally, but since we've managed to add 30 some odd years on to that, it makes life a little more mysterious. like what are we supposed to do with it?
well our govt will tell you that you can do ANYTHING YOU WANT, after all its a world of opportunity out there. but thats a crock of shit, to put it lightly. but overall its the biggest piece of wool that has EVER been pulled over your eyes, they live out their lives in the most glorious of way, in huge mansions, they eat caviar and smoke cuban cigars and have private aircraft and MILLIONS of people making it all possible for them. Every piece of technology every piece of refined metal and plastic and glass came from us. we made it from the raw materials at our disposal. but it took alot more work to make the jet fuel and to build the aircraft it goes in, than the people who actually use it would EVER think of putting into it.
the fact is, there is a small percent of people who exploit the rest of the world so that they can live a life worth living.
why do i know all this, because we are here to do two things, and we all do them (except a few very unlucky people who never get the second), these 2 things are to reproduce, have sex, procreate (put it ANY way you want it) and die. theres no way of getting around it.
and this thing we all call life. its just filler. none of it matters at all, and no this doesnt mean give up on your life because life can be fun, but not as fun as it could be if we'd just get rid of these fucking rich people.
everyone should grow their own food. build their own houses. there shouldnt be anything called money, currency of ALL types should be disolved except the IOU, everything else would be aquired through trading or makin it yourself.
then and only then would the quality of life be dependent on how good YOU make it. Not how good the 50,000 chinese kids who slave away to make your nike shoes and abercrombie and fitch clothes, and the factory workers who dive used cars and have a 1 story house and 2 kids have made it FOR YOU.
it just makes me sick that people out there who run around a basket ball court for half the year make more than all the private buiseness' in new york put together (probably not, but you get the point im trying to make).
ANY WHY THE FUCK IS A STUCK UP RICH PREPPY KID RUNNING OUR COUNTRY?????
id like to bet that his votes came from the same people who would've given him a wedgie and locked him in a locker back in highschool. and of course the people who dont have enough brain power to even think for themselves.
no offense bush supporters, but hes an idiot. theres no getting around it, look at the mother fucking country, watch cnn for 5 min and if you dont get sick of the state of things then you're just one of them.
