Yo katewood.. I was in the car all day yesterday.. sorry..

Well..
this is what y ou need to do

1. fill the tray with about 1/2 inich of water.. Let the cubes drink from the bottom.. Don't water again until all the water is gone from the bottom of the tray.. You can even wait an additional day (after the tray is dry) then fill the tray again with 1/2 inch of water.
2. Put a dome on the trays... You need to keep the humidity inside..
take the dome off once in awhile... Everday for 10 minutes.. or every ither day for a couple hours..
this is to prevent mold growth..

Of course the cubes should bever be dry....

I think you said earlier taht the best grow you ever had was starting seedling under a 1000 watt hps..

I would like to hear the details.. how far the light was from the plants... what medium you used.. how often and how much you watered? air flow?

Garden Knowm Reviewed by Garden Knowm on . clones in r'wool...dying due to heatstress? or, I have always cloned hydro...this is my 1st attempt to clone using r'wool starters (1"x1"). I have had under a small cfl for 3 days. they appeared fine. Last night I decided to put them in a corner of my extra closet 4feet off to the side of a 250hps...I have never had a problem with clones or seedlings under this lamp...I went to the 'big room' for about 2-3 hours, when I came back the 'ol lady... Had closed the door...This is how they look now. If you are an experienced r'wool user and Rating: 5
