    Dosent it just suck???

    God bless the PA hicktowns.

I live in miles of mountain valleys. The only things within a half hour of me that can be considered big would be Pottsville or Frackville. There are other cities closer to me, but most people wouldn't even call them cities. Little raural towns.

Sometimes its a pain in the ass with boredom and all in the winter, but where I live, the neighborhood and privacy therin is second to none. Not to mention the sheer amount of forest acreage directly behind my house. Great place to stash some trees and fade out of society. The police are even very amazing. I got pulled over with 3 ounces one night and no charges were ever placed and I was allowed to go home the same night.

As for hanging out with people from the internet... Who knows. I've actually never done it, and have been on the web for 7 years at least by now. Met countless people on it, but its quite rare to find someone within an hour of myself period, let alone one that's not as paranoid as I am. I had once made a plan to meet someone at a mall close to me, but they were a no-show, and that's as close as I got o meeting soemone over the intarweb. Just gotta be carefull of the Ted Bundys and other psychotics that wind up on here. I don't like to consider myself a puss, but I would never blindly come to meet someone in a non-public venue where it wouldnt be hard to touch me in the pants without witnesses.

I feel ya man, i live in what they call a "township." the way you describe things in your neck of the woods ane pretty much identical. Im from way down south, and the "ned reckersons" would only be described as(me) beer drinkin heavy music listenin folks are few and far between round here. My accent is so damn heavy that I stick out like a sore thumb when I go to buy a pack of smokes. Its funny to me. I try to be more and more of the trendkill where I come from. here, I live it without even trying. self proclaimed "great southern trendkiller"

I lived some of my life out in Fort Stockton, TX, myself.

First grade, at any rate. That place still sticks to my memory. Such a different place on Earth, and, really, the only other place on the planet I've spent time in and was old enough to retain memory. Gorgeous place.

Though, I must say that i am in love with PA at his time of year. These forests, so thick already. Its like a rainforest in my back yard. While this season is ominous, as far as how much water we are predicted to recieve, I still expect some spectacular results from these mountains, yet again.

Unfortunately, I am currently rearing the future as we speak. Winter's harvest was not quite up to par with my previous, leaving me with nigh until next harvest. However, the good news is that the current generation is already at 9" in under a week, which leads me to believe I will not have long to wait for the next haze.

Those destined to be outside will end up there in the coming weeks, I believe. Vegetative stage does not seem very far away for them. Hoiwever, with the predictions of frequent wet weather, i find it dangerous to throw them to the wilds until adequite stalk-strength is attained. Although, those going outside will more than likely stretch their lives until hunting season, depending on when we are scheduled to recieve frosts. While it takes a few more months, I have to say the outdoor yeild is simply awe-inspiring. Also, the 10 mile hike up the mountains and accross the tops to tend to things keep me in great shape. Growing is like some kind of super-sport in this state.

Hopefully, with the advent of myself having some crop to share, some of us can meet and laugh it up in this place.

Try any Yeungling yet, dime? I am very, very fond of their Lager. I would even go far enough to call it my favorite beer. Also, If you are into beer with a great hops accent, a local brewery called Victory brews a beer called Hop Devil that is quite an excellent, heavier beer. Basically, a Pale Ale with a lot of Hops buds (cannabis relative ) mixed in. I really like it. Also, if you are into heavier music, I can give you a few mails about where I am going to be playing. We play rock, dabble in some thrash-esque metal... I really don't know what you'd call us, but odds are that our tour schedule, which begins July 4th, has us stopping by near you. We made it a point to pencil in local areas, no mater how obscure, before we hit the road.

    My first post!!

I just moved to the burgh from California and don't know anyone who
shares these interests. I would love to find people
who like to smoke and grow. I've grown in the past and will probably
start up again soon. ALthough PA is so conservative compared
to CA, I'm pretty nervous about it. Is there anyway to share info
    and possibly get together safely?

Well, nobody can say I haven't offered to extend some hospitality. There's a reason they dragged Tommy Chong to Pittsburgh, it's the only place where you can get railroaded and nobody cares.
