Hi Bob!
Canada ROcks and yeah...those CONservatives are just dastardly! But hey, I think Dion may be just as bad.He has a poor opinion of pot, and has a very agressive anti-pot personality. He might decrim....but unlikely. I look at the Libs and think that historically they've said tons of stuff, but when it comes down to the nut, they are just CONservatives in red clothes!
The NDP have lost their perspective nationally, and the greens are just too socially conservative, but many of them agree that Marijuana could be of value in taxation terms.
Me...I've run for the Marijuana Party of Canada in 2 federal elections in Oxfordd County(100 km from you)(and recently municipally as well...although not with the party) and garnered some really good support...but it wasn't a 100% marijuana agenda, and I made some attempt to normalize things by adding the economic factor into the agenda, as well as a broad platform, with a strong left bend.(i guess that goes for the party itself...we are all radicals in one way or another that have been left out of the paradigm of political structure.)
I enjoy the forums tons...it's great to see the Canadian perspective alongside that of our US counterparts. It says a lot for the international lobby against the prohibition of pot.
I'm also a member of the Transnational Radical Party which has a very concerted effort, and is Ngo in General consultative status with ECOSOC of the UN. I urge people to make their opinions known, and to support their local Marijuana Party Candidates in their collective endeavours to bring Marijuana to the forefront of political change.

(hey...sorry for the damned near like quality of the preceding infomercial I have just posted! It is always a difficult thing to find a cutoff point! And I feel such a necessity to inform people of their choices that I can hardly contain myself!)
