The "Smoke House" Now in Ashes

O.k, for those of you who don't know about the Smoke House, it's an old barn made into a bar/club of sorts. It belonged to one of my best friends who decided the 'Gang' needed a place to chill. It was an exlusive little place with an open bar, tables, chairs, stools, and a stage where "Stoned Culture" played, and practiced. It started off as a place where we would all go to light up, being he has kids, and it grew to accomidate about 30-40 people every weekend. It had a VIP section where 10 of us would gather on fridays. (Loft)

Only friends were allowed @ the Smoke House, and friends of friends, so we kept out the riff raff crowd. It was my most favorite place to hang out, but now it's gone! I found out this morning that it had caught fire, and burned to the ground.

I'm so sad; it was the only place I had where I felt completely comfortable. I'm sure we'll try to rebuild, but it will take a great deal of money to get it back to its glory. They also suspect arson, as all my friends car tires had been flatted with a sharp object. (No doubt from someone excluded from the ranks.)

Fine woman, good friends, live music, beer, whiskey, and weed...

RIP Smoke House, you will be missed!

Damn dude, sorry to hear that. Here's what I would do.. I'd build another "Smoke House!" It can be a project that you and all your friends can do, and I'm sure that everyone that used to go there would be willing to donate some money to get the place back up.

I'm afraid it will take a long time to rebuild, but it's true that everyone would put in the time, and what funds they can afford to help out. Even so, it looks like we'll be forced to resort to field parties this summer, and maybe charge admission.

We'll probably end up building some kind of pavilion, and run electricity to it for the band. Maybe throw some pic-nick tables around the area, and call it a B.Y.O.B, lol!

Hey, have you ever watched a drunk man try to ski? (It's the funniest sh!t ever) We went last year, and my buddy gave us quality entertainment for hours, lol!

Thanks, it was my home away from home...I absolutely loved it!

No worries, though. The Smoke House 'will' rise again! It may take 2-3 years, but she will rise!
