i was lying in a hospital bed at the time, watchin the news.. the first plane had just hit.. i was gobsmacked, but it seemed like an accident, which is what most people thought.. so the shock and hurt was there because of the lives lost, but not the disbelief and the anger.. that hit me as soon as i saw the second plane hittin, live on tv.. i got home later that day and could hardly speak.. it was the other side of the world and it affected me badly.. peace to those who suffered at the hands of that tragic time...

I was running around base locked and loaded, then loaded up on a plane to standby for a deployment. I'm sure everyone still remembers what they were doing that day.
