I remember the whole day clearly, I was in my bedroom making my bed and I heard the news on the radio. I felt chills and couldn't imagine what was going on. My husband called me, he was frantic, he almost came home from work. He called every 2 hours that day. On a personal note, my dad was lying in a hospital bed in Pittsburgh dying and I had just gotten out of detox. I felt like maybe it was the end of the world. Unfortunately, for a lot of ppl, it was their last day on Earth. The only good (if you can possibly call it that!) was how America united together. It took a terrible tragedy to bring us all together against evil. I only hope that the families who lost loved ones have found some sort of peace by now.

I was in school passing between my first hour and second hour and I hear this really smart girl telling this other girl that the wtc buildings and the pentagon were hit by planes (there was a annoucement over the loudspeaker, but my 1st hour class was so noisy nobody heard it). I didn't understand what was going on at all, then I go to my 2nd hour class and a student turns on the news and the whole class watches for a few minutes until the teacher comes and turns it off says some words and we continued with class normally. In the rest of my classes for the day all we did was talk about it and watch the news reports.

    We will never forget.

    I remember what happened.

My second period class had just let out, and I was walking to the cafeteria to go get some milk, when a pretty good friend of mine came up to me and said "Dude, a jet just flew into one of the World Trade Center buildings." Naturally, I figured that he was joking, and tried to laugh it off. We went to the community room, and started watching the TV. Surely this must have been an accident? Did it run out of fuel, was it's tracking system off, what? They kept on showing the footage over and over and over again, and then I realized that this was no accident. Who would have done this? What kind of crazy SOB would attempt this? I clung onto the thought that perhaps it was just and accident, when they showed the second plane crashing through the second building. No doubt left in my mind, I was filled with an immense sadness.. and anger. Loads of anger. Then the fingers started to be pointed at everyone, and you know how the rest of the story goes.

Peace, Canniboids. I'll be praying for all of you in our time of need.

i was lying in a hospital bed at the time, watchin the news.. the first plane had just hit.. i was gobsmacked, but it seemed like an accident, which is what most people thought.. so the shock and hurt was there because of the lives lost, but not the disbelief and the anger.. that hit me as soon as i saw the second plane hittin, live on tv.. i got home later that day and could hardly speak.. it was the other side of the world and it affected me badly.. peace to those who suffered at the hands of that tragic time...

Damn, hey, i have nothing against freedom of cults, but when you start killing people i think you deserve to be killed.
