Ok, dampem some paper towls, so they are fairly wet, but not dripping. Put your seeds in and fold it in half. Its normally best to then put it in a big baggie, and breathe in it to warm it up a bit. Then close it all up and put it somewhere dark and warm. Like on top of a hi-fi or something.

BREATH INTO IT? you breath out C02 Plants roots need Oxygen ... I wouldn't put it in a plastic bag ..... Soke your seed 10-20 min in water (so it thinks it got a huge rain fall) take danp paper towls and fold it up in a crack of the towl with seed like this !()! the ! are the sides of the paper towl seeds running along it pointing along track of the Fold in the Damp Paper Towls... put in a dark place check every 3 days.... when shit sprouts plant into soil/hydryton/rockwool what ever your useing about 1/4-1 inch ... i usaly do 1/2 inch into meduim.... :smokin: Thats me But i think that plastic bag and breathing bad idea imo:smokin: GL

Breathing in it isn't a problem at all. The air you breath out contains a good amount of oxygen - your body doesn't use all the oxygen (how do you think CPR mouth to mouth works?) Everyone has their own method that works for them. Personally, I prefer tupperware type containers with the paper towels in the bottom.

And as soon as it sprouts you put it in soil anyway, so it wouldnt make a blind bit of differnce if there was co2 in it... since your opening it every day to see if they have cracked it would escape anyway...

Thats fine but do you relize you just proved your breathing into the bag idea wrong regardless? i wated you to say it hehe it worked you open it to check it so breathing into it does nothing ... just soke your seed and put in damp paper towl and that plunty moisture.... yeah you can seal it into something but that also does nothing differnt from just placeing in dark area:smokin: Your not wrong lip just doing pointless things =):smokin:

Well, i think sealing it isnt pointless, simply because it keeps the moisure in, and then you aint gotta keep handling it to get it damp again...

Fair do's man tho, what works for me might not always work for you...

Yeah, I also did that with my first seed that successfully germinated. I'm surprised to read that some one actually did the same thing xD, I thought I was just crazy.

Yeah actually Ive done this before too and i always seal the bag.. another way I used to do is soak a sock... and throw seeds in there.. but there are disadvantages to the sock method.. and... actually the breathing in the bag is not pointless IMO because seeds like WARM, DARK, AND MOIST Places
"dank" if you will. Your breath is warm so it would do nothing but good IMO. Definitely wouldnt kill them.
