I think Waters definitely has a better talent for putting an "album" together than Gilmour does. His stuff just all flows together, like an opera or a symphony. The type of album you listen to from beginning to end. I liked Momentary Lapse and Division Bell but they seemed much more just a collection of unrelated songs that are trying to sound like a Floyd album.

I'd definitely recommend you check out Pro's and Con's of Hitchhiking if you like Final Cut. If you listen to the progression of Floyd's sound from Animals>The Wall> Final Cut, Pro's and Con's seems like it would logically be the next Floyd album. I heard that Waters actually wrote that album at the same time he came up with the idea for The Wall. Apparently he presented both ideas to the rest of of the band and we all know which one they picked.

Yeah, I heard the same thing. Odd though, Gilmour actually did most of the vocals on Dark Side, all except for Brain Damage and Eclipse. When I saw Waters back in 2000 he had someone else handle all of Gilmour's vocals, which meant he didn't sing for about 3/4 of Dogs. If he does the same thing this time around...well...it'll seem more like he's just the bass player for someone else's show.

When I saw Floyd back in 1994 they played Dark Side from the beginning to end. Except for Brain Damage and Eclipse that is. It was fucking awesome.

What did you pay for tickets to the Water's show? I heard they were ridiculously expensive.

Never been a huge fan of pink floyd music, but allways thought they were very clever. I have nothing but respect for them and the songs they put out.
