Homemade bowl

Well i got a screen but i was wonderin when i light the bowl the wood on the inside burns a little will that hurt me at all?

not anymore then the weed if its untreated, smoke a couple fat bowls out of it to build a layer of resin so the wood isnt burned, o yeah dont use a screen just plug the hole with a peice of nug

Homemade bowl I just made this sweet ass bowl out of wood and i was gonna use screen from like a window for the screen but i was wondering if it was safe or not. lol sorry to tell you this man, but smoking out of a wooden bowl is a bad idea. it tastes gross, and needs to be treated with some special chemicals to not burn. i carved a pipe all out of wood and took me weeks, i finally smoked out of it and it was terrible so i tossed it. sorry man.

you need to use really hard wood, the chemically treated stuff is what you dont want, those indians with there peace pipes werent goin to the hardware store and buying treated wood

welll...those indians were using maple wood mostly for their piece pipes, and im pretty damn sure this guy aint using maple wood...so you can buy the solution that makes your wood unburnable and thats another way to go.
