Awesome!...My first thread and I got some pacifist stoners to squabble on the e-nets......C'mon guys.....I've just been researching a while and I've seen the projections of "1oz/sqft" but i've heard way more and I've heard way less and I'm leaning on different approaches to lighting depending on the different info i'm getting, and its changing everyday.
I havent bought the lights but I've scoped out different 4ft floro setups at Lowe's and the most wattage i've seen in a plug in version is 32. I found some 60watt 4ft bulbs but no fixture to match. I'm calling around to see if anyplaces carry those 125watt loopy ones but so far no go. I really would like a little direction on this, most of specs and info i've read seem to assume that everyone is using HPS's or the like.
side note: I'm currently experiementing with a way to hit this bong with my nose.....updates coming

I use 4-foot flourescents, exclusively ... just go to WALMART, buy the "Cool White" GE's, 40-watters, 'blue' spectrum ... also, get the GE Kitchen/Bath 40-watters for blooming, they're your 'red' spectrum ...

Britewire so are you sayign that for every 158.33 lumens your light has you should yield close to 1gram, so for example with 1x42w =150w/2600 lumen CFL you should result close to 16.42 grams. or am i just too stoned?:smokin:

I have grown with both and I will tell you there is a great difference. My yeild with fluro's almost nothing. HPS 400 watt 4 OZ's from 6 plants and HPS 100watt cheap light 6 OZ's. I'm trying a hortilux 1000 eye HPS now and the yeild will be much greater. The big Z says. If you go cheap you grow cheap. Sorry if that's all you can use.
