i had a scrog cab with 4 42 watt cfls 1 65 watt cfl aquarium strip and a 125watt vitalume cfl, yeilds were 4-4.5 oz or .33-.36 gm/watt but with hps i have no trouble getting 1gm/watt with my 400 and my 150. you can get a 150hps for pretty cheap(under 50 bucks) and i got over an ounce more with 150 watts of hps than i did with 350watts of cfls.

its not really a freak story of yeild but i switched from tubes to cfl''s and i am a new grower by the way. the growth boost from the light intensity change was extremly noticeable within 24 hours. Plus you get more lumens and more intensity which you need. i am goin to switch to a 400w hps system for flowering though so you might want to think of that combo to if you can afford it my hps system was only 140 bucks so its not a bad investment from everthing ive heard. hope i could help a bit
