I am having trouble with my indoor plants. I started them outside and they were thriving. When they were two months I began noticing strange notches on the leaves. I was doing my research into baking with sourdough starter one morning when I looked out my kitchen window. To my surprise the youngest of my cats was eating the leaves!!!! I thought her morning antics were typical year old cat playfulness.
The plants were replanted into pots and moved inside, we purchased a grow light and set up shop in a backroom closet. All was well for a week then the leaves began to curl under. Some leave appeared to be burned and were turning yellow. The flourescent is a750 lumens about two feet above the plants. I am using a standard fertilizer(miracle gro for house plants). There was very little ventilation.
I moved the plants back to an outside enviroment still in the pots and they are responding but are not as healthy as they were a month ago.
Any suggestions woul be helpful.
I was visiting my quaker friends last week and am happy to report that, after three years we have three healthy females.
As long as the deer do not eat them there should be a good harvest.
I am having trouble determining what is more amusing stoned kittys or stoned deer.
