i've never been asked which strain i'm smoking with someone, i've never bought a strain from someone, i've never even knew there were strains until i came to this site.... around here prices are directly related to bud quality and that's it... like an 1/8 of some really shitty mid (bordering on scwagg) costs 10 bucks, but an 1/8 of some reallly good mids (it may even be chron. i dunno, i've very rarely seen crystals, but my weed's always had redhairs, and almost always covered in them) might cost you up to 15 (you pay 10, but it'd be like .5 or so less than an 1/8)

but if you paid a higher price expecting to get the "legendary strain qual"
and feel ripped off then don't buy it from him

oh yea, it could just be neglected train wreck, we all know that strain is nothing without an experienced grower who knows what he's doing. a really great grower could probably grow an even better plant from a bag seed (assuming it was actually able to grow, and wasn't a dead seed or something) then a newb with a seed of white widow... the bud looks nice, so it could be trainwreck, that just wasn't given the best attention...

Alot the bud that circulates around here are from local growers so usually they come with a name, and usually the name is right. Then you have the shitty-mids buds that from what i know almost always are from BC and to compete they label it with made up names but you realize its all pretty much the same shit.

Anyhow, I agree that it could just be crapily grown trainwreck. Just because the seed has potential to be something great doesn't mean it will be if the grower doesn't know what they're doing. Or, it could just be the first name your dealer thought of. Hope you didn't pay premium price for it.

some dudes came over, and brought about an 1/8 of some really good weed... and we smoked approx. 5 bowls out of my gas mask and 3 out of my steam roller....woah...

edit: the weed looked very similar to the weed in god's pics (from what you can tell)
edit edit: god, when you are taking pictures, make sure there is sun light, take them from diffrent distances and always brace your arms very well, so that there is as little movement as possible. hold slowly press in the shutter button... i found my camera takes way better pics if i slowly press then when i jerk it. and don't move for one second after the picture is taken. like when you see the flash or hear a beep, say '1 mississippi' in your head b efore you move at all
