yippy hair and piss test coming PLEASE HELP

I was a long time heavy smoker 5'10" 165 lbs. I quit on Jan. 1 in hopes to find a new job. I have a test coming up on may 12th. I will be 132 days clean. I bought a 6 panel test and took it at what should have been a bad time 2nd piss of the day, i was negitive. I think I may also get a hair test. I have long hair waist length. I am going to cut it to about 1.5 inches I also bought some shampoo ultra clean by zydot and plan on using that. should i be ok or what elese could I do. PLEASE CALM MY NERVS. thanx

They may be able to get hair samples from other areas of the body, just to let you know. Otherwise if you passed the home piss tess, and you cut your hair to that length, you'll be fine.

is there a standard or law on how far from the root they can test. i have read that they tipically go about 1.5". i would think there would have to be most people only have hair long enough to check back 90-120 days but people like me you could check back 4 years or more.

how did u fail a piss test 132 days clean...thats crazy....

but yea pass a home piss test and cutting ur hair that short should work....as long as u arent even around it....

I used to work for a company that sold drug test (Needless to say, I was deep in the bullshit associated that ludicrous industry that only exists for the sole purpose of promoting false information, middle men and money. An actual 5 panel test costs $1.10 wholesale, and some places charge as much as $30 for one)
We also did hair testing. DO NOT CUT YOUR HAIR. It won't matter. The cannibinoids break down in hair after a certain amount of time, just like in urine (Only in hair it's much much slower) and anything longer than an inch and a half doesn't have any cannibinoids left in it anyways, so you would just be ruining your hair. Hair tests CAN go back 180 days, but they only count levels coinsitent with 90 days. Also, if this testing involves any sort of Commercial Drivers License, they can't even do hair testing anyways.

Just letting you know, don't ruin your hair. Even if you shave your head they'll pull it from somewhere else that doesn't grow as fast (Arm pit, back, pubic, chest. You name it)

Oh, and the whole "They can detect second hand smoke in hair" is total bullshit also. The hair stores cannibinoids deep within the folicle, not on the surface of the hair. Cannibnoids will wash out with normal shampoo (DO NOT waste your money on those "cleansing shampoos" They are a scam, just like most "pass a piss test" products) So you can hang out in a clam baked room a day before your hair test without fear.

Correction to my last post. Even if resin was directly placed in a sample, it will not show up on a test. Drug tests do not detect the presence of THC or any other component of weed. They test for the byproduct your body produces while it metabolizes the THC (Cannibinoids).

thank you Branall1, sounds like i will be ok. but i still got a hair cut just so happens my wife really likes it, and i would perferr to start my new job by flying in under the radar, I don't want to be labled as some sort of long haired hippy stoner. that way i will have no one gunning for me. and maybe if they don't do randoms i can have a smoke to celebrate my new job, I have a 1/4 oz. curing from last years harvest (6 mos.) yummm. test in the morning wish me luck.

thank you....every one that i hang out with says that second hand smoke will cause u to fail....i tell them its bullshit cause my brother blew it in my face the day b4 the test and i was fine.....its bullshit...ha ok thanks lol

yup hair and piss test both off to the lab now. WOW they also gave me a full physical, hearing and sight , blood and urine test (not for drugs), chest xray, lung test, and a f@#$ing ekg. hair is a psychemedics test, and urine went to medtox. I guess we will see.
