Frankly, I'm scared of white people. They can deny me a job just because I'm not white. They can deny me housing because I'm not white, and they can deny me an education because I'm not white. Fuck being mugged.

Anyway, whatever poverty is in the African American community, white Americans can blame themselves. Enslaving a group of people for hundreds of years, then denying them equality until just 40 years ago, might cause some resentment in the black community.

Fuck the argument that, "Oh my ancestors werent slave owners. Why should I feel guilty?" If you're parents were here in the 1950s and 60s they didnt give a fuck about black people by not helping them vote or getting involved in the the civil rights movement you have to share some of the responsibility. Many of he cops who you see beating black people in those black and white videos are still alive today, and its a little naive to think that they didnt teach their kids to hate people of color.

I never said that only white people have caused death and destruction, just that white people have killed more people in more places than any other race of people since the dawn of civilization. And really, I have no idea what you're talking about. Most high schools romanticize the western pioneers and western civilization in general, and choose to forget the country's ugly history of genocide. High schools dont teach about the Chinese Exclusion Act, and several other discriminatory measures in our nation's history. They never ever quote how our presidents felt about native americans or blacks. They didnt teach us that Reagan thought people with HIV should be barred from coming into this country. But you're right, unless you do some research of your own, you'll be ignorant.

Just as the Chinese demand that Japanese textbooks give a more accurate picture of Japanese atrocities during WWII, we should expect the same of our textbooks, which completely fail to give a multicultural perspective of our history.
