Early Flowering Question, Male or Female?
My Plants are 3 Weeks old and i was wondering if i could determin the sex before i actually start flowering.... some people told me i could put my plants in flowering to see if it has the sacks or pistols, then put them back in VEG growth with just the females? will this stress the plant or is it ok? any other methods?

Early Flowering Question, Male or Female?
i've never tried putting a plant into flower then back to veg. i have heard that it is possible, but shock seems inevitable. if you have the two seperate rooms, you can clone your plants and throw them into 12/12 and eliminate the males from there. make sure that you mark which clone belongs to which mother (or hopefully not, father).
that's my two cents at least.

Early Flowering Question, Male or Female?
I think it is standard practise mate. Fear not the hardy weed can take it and it won't be too stressed!

Early Flowering Question, Male or Female?
Yeah, many people, altohugh not all, put their plants into flowering half way through the vegging so they know what ones to pull, then they put it back in vegging and then flower at a later date. It wont stress the plant. It's only so you know you aint wasting your time.

Early Flowering Question, Male or Female?
well i guess that is a revelation for me... so now i am curious; how long can you let the plants run under 12/12 before you have to switch it back?

Early Flowering Question, Male or Female?
Yeah, as soon as you see the differnt sexes pull the males and put the remaining females back into 18/6. If you carry on after pre flowers have shown you wont be able to put it back into veg wtihout mucking the plant around and causing stress.

Early Flowering Question, Male or Female?
thank you for everyones help, i was mostly worried i would stress and turn hermie. So if its hermie it has pistols and sacks? My girls are close to a foot tall but i put 2 seeds a pot incase i gotta pull some.... so i should flower for 4 days or as soon as i see the sex, then continue the VEG Cycle?
Thanks again for everyones input.
