Ventilation dilemma
If I can't attach inflow fans and exhaust fans to the walls because of using a spare room in a rental property what are my alternatives to ensure temperature control, fresh air supply and removal of smell?
Will supplementing with CO2 be enough with a fan to move the air around and a carbon filter/ozone for smell?
Do I need to consider building a closet to fit in the room so I can attach the necessary fans, something I am reluctant to do?

Does the room have any windows?
If it does, you're ok.
You can build a small "wall" behind the window, and attach all your intakes/exhausts to that...
What do you think? Yes? No? Maybe?

Ventilation dilemma
Thanks turtle.
You know the more I research this , the more I might have to settle for the assembly of a grow wardrobe. Britwire is doing some good stuff with soil so he is converting me to the idea. I wanted to do a sea of green with more plants but the grow wardrobe can be concealed if done with care and odour neutralizers.
Cheers for the input.

Have a gander at www.growell.co.uk
They sell cabinets that you can either buy readymade (for about £100), lined with mylar and have holes for intake/exhaust fans. They also sell kits that you can make your own with. If you cant afford that, then start looking at rubbish dumps and in skips on the side of the road - some people throw stuff out that can be bloody useful for a grow, and all it needs is a good clean.

You can build a smaller room just large enough for your plants. You can build one with PCV pipe and panda plastic. That way you can use the area outside the grow room to filter the air and deal with the heat. Everyting would be in one room still. They make zippers that use tape to stick to the plastic to make a door too.
