Would someone please give me some info on this? I am a basket case here! I took a Pre-employment drug test at Quest Diagnostics on Apr. 26. The last time I smoked was on Apr. 2. I decided to quit at that time because I realized the only good jobs did drug testing and I wanted to be prepared because I was applying at quite a few places and didn't want to have to deal with "trying" to pass with all of the products out there. I wanted to pass when the time came simply by quitting and not having to worry about it. Then I get called for this really great job that I want and didn't know if I would be clean within the amount of time that I quit and the date of the test. (I hear it takes like 3 months to be naturally clean, but I don't know). I thought I should try and do something to make sure I would pass, but the only thing I did was to try and take Niacin, B-12, Aspirin, and some kind of cleansing pills from GNC in a blue bottle every day for about a week up until the date of the test. Still not knowing for sure if I would pass. When I took the test, no one told me that they would call and give me the results nor did they say they would call if I failed. Here it is May 1st and I have heard nothing! Wouldn't they have the results by now? Do they call if you fail? If you do fail, do they ever let you retake? Do you think I will pass if I haven't smoked since Apr. 2nd? It said on the form, Drug Test to be Performed: 6405N SAP 5-50 GC/MS. I have no idea what that means. I did go to a facility and paid for a rapid drug screen test voluntarily the day before the test at Quest, and the screening results were negative and it said the temp was 91.4, but I'm thinking the Quest testing is probably a lot different than a rapid drug screen?? I don't know. This is all new to me. I just really hope and pray that I didn't screw this up.!
