    flowering period

The flowering period is another expression for 'budding phase'; when the plant actually begins producing hormones and auxins specifically for the production of resin covered seed pods that we don't want pollinated.

    Read the FAQs.

The beauty of it is -- you decide how long you want your plant to grow in the vegetative state before flowering. Although, a clear indication of the right time to flower is when it begins producing alternating nodes.

You'll learn all about this if you read the FAQs.

If it doesn't flower it's probably still in vegetative growth because it's the middle of Summer outdoors, for example, and it's not a short ruderalis. Or, you forgot to switch over to 12/12 indoors, which you can read all about..

    In the FAQs!

After the summer solctice. When the days get shorter. And get down to 14 hours of darkness at night. The plant will double in size(some sativa's Triple) And begin to grow flowers after it stops stretching. It will consintrate intirly on the bud growth. In California this happens in the begining of Auguust. If you are further north it will be later. If you are south it will be sooner.

yes very possible. Get a fast flowering strain... 8 weeks flowering or less.
And you should harvest in late Sept. Or Oct.
