I don't get why so many stoners like that one Afroman song. Yeah sure it's about weed, but if you actually listen to the lyrics, it gives weed a bad name, further driving into the skulls of the masses the idea that stoners cannot lead normal, responsible lives, that we are crippled by our use of cannabis, make stupid decisions and can't be motivated to do anything that matters.

Oh well, if you don't like rap that's your perogative...don't like music, whatever....don't like afroman that's cool 2, that's you....but the song was meant to be humorous, if you didn't get it, you're probably not a "true" stoner...Matter fact, I'd bet my whole paycheck me and Fro could smoke anybody HERE under a table!

I didn't say I don't like rap or music. Quite the contrary; I think they're great. I just feel that the lyrics to that particular song are reinforcing a negative stereotype in the public. I just don't see the humor in saying "pot fucked my life up".

And what do you mean I'm probably not a "true" stoner? I smoke more than anybody I know. I'm high more often than I'm sober. If that doesn't make me a "true" stoner, I don't know what could.
