wassup i read some of ur old posts and i see that u have some techniques for showing sex early and other stuff ur experienced with. can u help me with some stuff about outdoor growing on aim? whts ur aim?

I don't have an aim but you can ask me stuff here. Or in the morning in the chat room.
One easy way to check the sex is the paper towel roll over one branch.
Basicly you turn one branch to flower while the rest stays in veg. I did that last year outside. The only down side is you lose that branch. But outdoors it wont make a difference because they grow so big.
I think thats the technic you were refering to. I just gave it a shot and it worked.

Take a paper towel roll...
and a piece of tin foil...
Tape one side of the paper towel roll so there is no light getting threw.
Poke a tiny hole for air flow(not too big,or too much light will get threw)
slide the role over the lowest branch and rap the foil around the bottom of the role and the branch.
Prop it up with something.
You have to put it on for 12 hours a night.
For about a week or two to see the sex.
The pre flowers will show up pretty quick.
Actually I think I put it on for about 14-15 hour a day and it showed on that branch quick. One day there was a little bud growing on the branch.
I stopped puting it on the branch and left it. The branches never did anything. So eventually I cut them off.

oic do u have msn? also do u take the WHOLE paper towel roll like wen its brand new? also what stage should i cover the branch(about how tall)

also the reason i want ur aim or msn is because u live in california and i do too and we both do outdoor growing

You use a empty paper towel roll. And you can do it anytime before flowering. I'd say the best time would be after about a month of veg. Or 3 weeks.
I don't like waisting money and time on male plants outside. Thats why I came up with this method.
