Im planning on spending a weekend in Amsterdam soon, just wondered if any could give me some info on the best places to go? (toking, seed buying,drinking etc)

Coming to holland?, great, if you like,maybe we could hook up here in holland, I know some better places than amstredam. Amsterdam a tourist trap,to many coffeeshops,it's so commercial, But let me know when you plan to come. I hope not to soon, goin on holidays, portugaul next week, be back beginning Oct. When you decide to come to Holland, let me know. And don't you think a weekend is just alittle to short? I'd say at least a week. Travelling is so time consuming, before your here you got to go, might as well be a japanese tourist...3min. here, 5min. there...

I agree Amsterdam is very touristy but for us Americans it is so weird to be able to go and buy good pot in a coffee shop. Where would you recommend going besides Amsterdam. I love to travel and have been to Amsterdam four times. Is the Grey Line coffee shop still exist. Had some good Blueberry.
Also, Woody if you are going in november see if you can go when the Cannabis Cup is.
Think third week november.

alrite m8,just back from amsterdam myself a few weeks,i went with the g/friend for 3 nights and stayed at the beethovan ramada hotel which is about 10 mins on the tram into the leidsplien and a further 10 mins maybe into the dam square (Trams number 5 & 24) check out the bulldog in the liedesplien,the smoke is a bit pricey but you get wot u pay for! purchase yourself a lovely bit of the white widow they sell in there,its a SERIOUS SMOKE,its pretty strange as the place used to be an old police station or a jail as far as i know and they still have the jail doors and cells in the place,look out for the bulldog that is sometimes in the place around the bar,it has the meanist red eyes in the place,it must be ripped out its box 24/7 in that place with the fumes.id reccomend headin into the dam square and having a snoop around as there is loads more coffeeshops in that area,in side streets where you may not think too look,by the way loads of the coffeeshops are tiny so if you get a seat youre laffin!!the grasshopper is a nice coffeeshop but look out for the black bitch behind the counter she is 1 greetin faced moody boot,she was ready to bite the head of some1 for askin for the key too the shithouse!!nice wee display of souviners and stuff you can buy but there way overpriced,just steal some beer mats like me lol,all you have to do is get on a tram and explore as far as i know the most of the trams just go round in big circles so its harder too get lost when your stoned out your box lookin for the last tram back too your hotel lol,for seeds check out the sensi seed bank which is at the top of the red light distrect and the the hemp museum is right next door,the seeds are pricey but worth it as i purchased myself some super skunk seeds and brought them back,my wee babys are well up and screaming for light after just 8 days in the pots!!!,you can see pics of em if you look through the forums!!http://www.coffeeshop.freeuk.com/ACDfrmGu.html check out that link that`ll give you a list of every1 you may be interested in while visiting the dam(THE PLACE IS SUPERB)BIG UP ALL YALL FROM THE DAM,dutchy yer just a jammy get and make me jelous at the thought of you stayin in the mellowist layed back place ever,oh and watch out for cyclists they dont stop and will run you over lolol and beware of trams they can catch you out if your stoned but they use there horns alot so you`ll be cool dont waste time m8 get yer arse over there and enjoy!!!!

Highaz, It's like goin to 7 eleven...But, next time when your here. try checkin out Utrecht, middle of holland, really close to amsterdam..20mins. with train. Down south, Den Haag, Down by the Sea. Alkmaar, just above amsterdam, famous cheese market.
Rotterdam, Euro Port....just to name afew places. Oh, yeah the Grey Area still exist, not Grey Line, but Grey Area. So remember, next time in town,give buzzz.... or better yet,get in touch, I'll give you a BUZZ..............
