I put Dr. Pepper in my friends bubbler and every hit tasted a bit like dr. pepper it was soo good and we got so baked. but i dont think soda cools the smoke as well as pure water does.

you know what i use... apple juice...lol it sounds stupid but it is the greatest thing it has a mellow taste and you can cool to kinda mimic water its the greatest
