Need advice fast!! Look!!

Ok something has got to be wrong...... i have noticed very slow growth...this pic is 9 days from seed...please help....they are under a 80w flour and a 150w cfl..i thnik it could be my soil as it is miracle grow organic mix w. perlite..i think the soil is too compact...should i transplant with new soil??

How big is your pot?
If you can, transplat into a 3 gallon pot. Get some perlite and decent store bought soil.. Mix the two together.. About 80% soil 20% perlite...

Your current soil might work great or it might not..

I bet I could grow using your soil.. LOL

Right now they are in cups..i have some 1 gallon pots...but you said i should go for 3 gallon right?? This soil is just soo hard...so here is a pic of soil....and i know there is no perlite as i got stone and two cups neva got any...

Also the pic on the left now has a yellow spot that just appeared on the first leaves..see it??

TRANSPLANT.. after you transplant into a 3 gallon/.. water her THOROUGHLY... 1 gallon of PH 6.8 water.... no nutrients... let the pot sit in the tray with the run off....


WHEN YOU TRANSPLANT--
Put a piece of newspaper at the bpottom of your pot and fill the bottom 1/2 inch with straight perlite... then put your soil/perlite mix on top of that.... this will help with drainage...

You will only need to water about every 5-10 days... when you do water.. water thoroughly (about 1 gallon)..... she will not need nutrients for a few weeks at least.. if you use some decent soil..

Ok can you give me a good soil to buy, that i cant find at like lowes homedepot...or should i make my own...if you point me in the right direction i will apprecaite it...cost doesnt matter as i want to take no short cuts...ok and total newbie question but ph adjusted water..like RO or distilled or what...kinda unclear on that one...oh and by the way...my girlfriend hates you...she says i spend too much time on here! what does she know??

you can buy a cheaper one with just the testing fluid

it will work fine also.. and then use vinegar for PH down..
and you should never really need PH up.. just add more tap water if your ph is to low.. 99% of the people in the USA have water that comes from the tap at over PH 7.0

You want PH 6.8
It is very easy to do..

tell your girlfriend "LOVE baby LOVE" and type with one hand and give her your other hand... : )

You can use plain tap water, just check the PH and then adjust it... very very easy... if you can master PH then you have 50% of GROWING mastered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SOIL.... buy the most expensive organic soil you can... preferably at a nursery.. it will be about 10 dollars for a big bag..

anyway,, just get the best organic soil you can.... YOU need a bag of PERLITE too... it is cheap.. 3-5 dollars

As Knowmy already pointed out, go ahead and transplant her with a big heaping helping of pearlite. I use the same method as him (oddly enough) only I leave out the newspaper but use about 30% pearlite when I'm mixing it into the soil.

When I first started my grow, my babies were in some condensed soil and after awhile they grew to hate it very much so. Lack of oxygen to the roots because when the soil dries over and over and over again it packs itself.
