Internet security tutorial?
I was thinking that since this site's traffic is probably monitored by Big Brother and given the victories the government is having in invading our privacy, could someone please develop a how-to tutorial on how to surf the web anonymously? Ideas like free anonymizer programs/websites, using security add-ons to the browser and whatnot. Also, could a sticky be made by the site's moderators or administrators that explains exactly what information is and is not recorded about those who visit this site?
Because I am concerned that everyone who posts here could potentially be persecuted by our governments for expressing an opinion about drugs, politics or whatever.
Okay, I'll level with you: I am *really* most concerned about keeping my ass out of trouble. But, by helping me with posting said information would obviously help out everyone else, too.

There is a link at the bottom of most every page to the CANNABIS.COM Privacy Policy:
http://www.cannabis.com/privacy/
There is no "security" forum and no stickies about such topics on purpose ... security is the user's responsibility ... no website can guarantee 100% privacy ... the internet just doesn't work like that ... on-line communications is always subject to being intercepted, etc somewhere along the way...
If the "government" really wants to find someone, they most often will ... and to be honest, anonymizers, while often an improvement over using nothing, are of limited value against a party, such as the "government" with vast resources.
With that said, "governments" have higher priorities, believe it or not, than to actively monitor on people discussing cannabis ... heck, many people in the NSA and other 3-letter agencies have consumed cannabis on occasion ... don't sweat the privacy stuff, at least not by those folks.
However, the people one should be concerned about in regards to privacy are family, friends, etc who know about one's "private" activities ... loose lips sink ships.

so trueLove is patient and kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres
