Parents can be wicked sometimes when it comes to their kids smoking pot. Some just cant handle it so they go to drastic measures like stuffing their kid in a shelter. If the parents are threataning that, they're probably pretty closed minded on the subject so trying to just tell them might not be such a good idea. Some of it depends on how old this kid is too.
This is a interesting story, keep us posted on what happens.

My dad went to amsterdam when he was 21....went on a roadtrip all over the western states seen the pictures of him smoking bowls and packing them so my dad would be the coolest about this but my mom is most likely to freak the fuck out. everything seems cool at the moment my room still smells from all the smoking out ive done this weekend so im gonna clean it out and just chill for a couple weeks before i start smoking again.

you're already caught... look at the things they said to you, they know what you're doing, they're trying to get you to admit to it... and i say do it, cuz now that they 'know' it doesn't matter how long of a break you take, they're going to be looking for any and all reasons to say you're smoking. might as well go ahead and tell them now, and just hope for the best.

I was going to the same.....taking a week break....lol...it wont work....if they know you are smoking it's not like they are just going to foget after a week because you haven't come home completly hammered

Nah me and my parents dont argue that much, i figure if i use a doobtube and some febreeze and only smoke at night and be steathly with it i should be okay.

Thats what i do now. I just go out on my terrace and burn at night. It kinda sucks b/c i hate having to wait so long to smoke and then being to tired to enjoy my buzz. My mom already knows i smoke, but what is she going to do about it. I just try to respect her wishes of not seeing me do it.
