    Cloning Issues: major transitional loss

If anyone can help you'd alivitate a ton of stress on my side.

    here is the situation.

I have established clones from three different varieties of plant.

The clones are established in standard round plug trays with humidomes.

Watered regularly the clones have roots and are established.

When I move them from the mothering room, which is under 10 40 watt fluros over into the flowering chamber 2* 1000 watt HPS lights, both at the ceiling away from the plants.

The plants quickly wilt and die I get about a 20% survival rate.

I have put humidifiers in the mothering room to increase the humidity which seems to help slightly.

Can anyone help me with why those clones are dying during the transfer

you could either keep them in the mothering room for longer, if they fit. Or you could put them still inside the humidomes under the 1000watt hps in an area where it isnt getting the full strength light. I think the problem is they arent well established enough yet to go directly under a light that strong.

Well for one the color of the light is not the same. Can you get a MH to veg them under? Young plants don't like a lot of light to start with and they prefer to have the proper light for the life cycle they are in.

i agree with alex and Z for trying the next time. they don't do as well with sudden environmental changes.
also i see no mention of what they're going into, medium-wise, after leaving the cloning chamber.

Ya shoulda put them under a 400 mh and then to the 1000 mh.It's hardening them off indoors. It has elements as well!Transition slowly to wide open!Don't just floor it your bound to spin-out!

    Holla!

hmmm? I clone under a 1000W MH with the kids as far away as they can be. Which is maybe 5 feet from the light. I would say you are missing another detail. Yes, i agree that the light could be the issue, but there is something else that is causing the death for them to die on that scale. Room temps? root zone temps? grow methods? Maybe a little more info would help here.
