super shitty weed in disguise

Is this a frequent happening? The other day i picked up a 20 of what looked and smelled like decent weed. No seeds, lots of hairs, a bit crystally, came in one decent sized bud. So i went ahead and smoked a small blunt of this stuff hoping to get myself extremely stoned. Well, after finishing it, i sat there wondering why i wasnt high.. i rolled a small joint and smoked that as well, and just started to feel the buzz. This is prety unusual as i guess im a lightweight and normally Smoking that much would knock the shit out of my twice, if not more.

I went back the next day hoping it was just a strange night.. something i ate, who knows. I used my pipe and smoked about 4 bowls. I got slightly high for about 15 minutes...

Does this happen to anyone else where they get what looks like decent weed and it turns out to be shit? In a normal circumstance with the weed i usually get, 1 bowl will have me set for a good couple of hours. I'm sad, i blew 20 bucks and hardly got high

Maybe sum1 sold you legal bud, or it could have been old weed and lost it's potency.

ive had it vis virsa..lol the bad of weed was like shawwwwg lookin shit w/ a few seeds, smelt of nearly nothing..smoked 3 bowls and was zoooted LOL and im a daily smoker, WITH a cannabis addiction lol

haha no, def not legal bud. It looked, tasted and smelled 100% like weed.

im not sure about it being old, if anything it was fresh, it was prety moist, but not wet and smelled great.

Couldve been kiefed, which means someone has basically put the bud in a sieve and sieved off all the trichs... but you need to grind it for that.
Bear in mind that lots of crystals doesnt necessarily mean a high THC content. Lowryder, for example, is relatively weak but has tons of trichomes.

i don't know about the lowryder being low potency!!!!!!???????? the people around here love my lowryder.....been told 3-4 times it was the best a lot of people have ever smoked, so don't believe everything untill you try it

Lol I have tried it. Not the best bud Ive had, but its pretty decent. Plus the fact that it costs £160 to run my light 18/6, 365 days a year, and it costs £160 for an ounce round here.

it could be legal bud and that slightly buzz you got is from the legal bud
or
there is the kind of bud (rarely) that looks and smells good but has very low potency but other than that i dont know what the hell it could be
