So my parents caught me stoned last night. I lied and told them I'd only done it about 15 times. They ended up telling me stories about smoking when they were in high school, and they both mentioned that the years that they smoked a lot of pot were the years that they were the most mentally unstable. They talked to me about how smoking pot makes thc latch onto brain cells and how it can effect learning. I have to admit, I have had a tough time with school lately. They also expressed concern about my development because I'm only 16. I knew most of what they told me already though. My dad said that what he believes happened to him was that he started smoking in HS, and the latched thc influenced his decision making skills heavily, and that is why he continued to smoke. A similar thing has happened to me. I used to be completely anti-pot until I started using it semi-frequently. Until last night, I was convinced that marijuana was a gift from the heavens that everyone should enjoy. I was also nearly convinced that smoking is nearly harmless. However, my parents gave me the biggest reality check, and I am not considering not smoking until college.

This may not apply to anyone, but I thought I should warn people that they could be smoking without guilt due to the thc and pot's ability to influence people's decisions even when they aren't stoned.

dude. We are pro pot. So go to freevibe.com or wherever the heck your ass goes when you leave here. Cannabis is a gift from the heavens. You can make anything from it just about. It does not effect my decision ability that much at all.

vaporizer bro, get a vaporizer. and as for thc grabbing to brain cells? bs propaganda, you need to go to http://www.thegooddrugsguide.com/ learn more about it, do denounce it, but imo, wait till ur almost 18. and dont get stoned at or b4 school if you notice it having results on your grades. cannabis is not dangerous if used properly and with moderation, or used improperly and without moderation. its what you make it.

Yeah, that web-site is definitely pro-drugs. I was reading that description of heroin and it says, "Despite the myths, heroin is a relatively harmless drug, especially compared to alcohol or nicotine." I realize how awful cigarettes and alcohol are, but worse than heroin?

Find me these links where these "doctors" give proof that THC latches onto your brain and somehow makes you stupid. dont pass the guilt you get from slacking off in school on pot. i smoke everyday and i am pulling almost 80s in every class becaus i simply take time to learn and understand the shit they teach, you have to be there so why not get what you can out of it.

Not really...time spent stoned isn't time spent studying when your a newbie smoker, it takes skills some people don't have to study stoned. There are things that it's a good idea not to do stoned for some people like drive, study, or anything where you could likely injure yourself. There's responsible use and there's abuse of a LOT of substances.
