heh, well don't hold your breath over getting it, it has to be their weakest album EVER. I mean seriously, I don't know what's happened to Rammstein but Reise Reise was a major step down from their masterpiece "Mutter" and still far below Sehnsucht. They just sound really generic now, like they're trying to deliver the Rammstein sound we grew to love but keep falling flat. I'll give a brief review of their new album:

Rosenrot

1. Benzin - Hard pounding song, but nothing more. gets really old, really fast.
2. Mann Gegen Mann - Catchy at first, and again gets old fast.
3. Rosenrot - Decent song. But that's as far as the album goes: decent.
4. Spring - Ho hum, decent song, nothing really to it. repetetive, unsurprising.
5. Wo Bist Du - Best song on the album, very good actually. But still definately not "Mutter" standard.
6. Stirb Nicht Vor Mir (Don't die before I do) - Corny, lame, gets stupid beyond 1 or 2 listens. Sounds like a crappy American country love song or something.
7.Zerstoren - What can I say? 5 and a half minutes of repetition, and it sounds like it should be chase music for a cartoon.
8. Hilf Mir - Decent mellow parts, 2 eight-second good choruses, main chorus is like "look at us, we're sounding dramatic!...... oh wait, no we don't"
9 Te Quiero Puta - a FUCKING JOKE. seriously, you cannot tell me this was even meant to be anything beyond a joke, it just sounds silly and stupid, no musical value at all.
10. Feuer Und Waser - One of the better songs, but still them trying to be dramatic and sounding ho hum.
11. Ein Leid - 100% pointless. They fiddle around on some simple quiet chords that go nowhere for 3 1/2 minutes. it's not even as song, even though it's ironically called "a song".

*sigh* I miss the orchestral and haunting brilliance of Mutter, and the trippy sounds of Sehnsucht (my favorite off senhsucht now is "Engel").
