    WTF, WHY the Droop?

Did you keep the plants in the same containers? That's the only way to know for sure if the light is the problem. If you swithed reserviors too we still don't know for sure if it's light or nutes. Personally, I'm leaning toward a nute problem. If the temps are below 80 your light cannot be too hot.

When my plants are the size of yours I have had my HID light close to them for several days. You just need to wean them into the intense HID light over a period of about two or three days.

Root reservior should be completely light proof, just like in nature. This is not imperative however. A little light won't hurt, but you want mostly dark. Not only for the plants sanity, but to reduce scum and algea buildup.

Glad to hear they are improving.

Oh yeah, you need to wean them into full strength nutes too. I don't mix anything to avoid confusion. I use fox farm grow big with a drop or two of superthrive for the veg stage. I give them 1/4 strength nutes the first three days, 1/2 strenth the next three, then it's full on chemical saturation. I've always had great results, and as far as I know I've never had a nute problem. I just follow the instructions on the bottle.

And just slap some duct tape over those light leaks. You may want to consider spray painting a few coats of paint on the res. or wraping it in duct tape if it is not opaque.

    WTF, WHY the Droop?

Love you too man, nice to be appreciated. When I was a newbie boards like this helped me immensly. I probably would eventually be near the same place without them, it just would have taken me several more years of trial and error and expense. So thanks to everyone who helped me learn and saved me so much time and money. I hope I can spend more time returning the favor to anyone who could benefit from my knowledge. Unfortunatly I don't have a lot of time right now, but who does. Of course I am still learning and I am not an expert by any means, but I have had some pretty relavent experiences and spent way too many hours reading faqs, web pages, and especially forums like this. For a learning aid there is no substitute for the experiences of others.

As far as being on these boards before, not before my join date, unless by these boards you mean overgrow.

i don't think they like pepsi, so they wilted a little to show their disapointment in your decision, ha ha no maybe it could be a algae problem since it wasn't light covered?
