    WTF, WHY the Droop?

OK, the conditions are virtually identical on both side except for the lights and the containers although there are squares and rounds on both sides.
Lights on the left is a 125 floro.
Lights on the left is a 400 HPS.

the doors are open all day and the fan outside circulates the air through out the room and the AC is on and the temp on both sides fluctuates between 70 and 80.

The reservoirs have the same nutes. nothing is different ...

Why are the plants on right drooping under a better light.
I keep the light on the 125 much lower than pic shows about 6 inches from tips
The HPS i keep way up since they are so young and i dont wanna burn them

    WHY ARE THEY DROOPING?

    WTF, WHY the Droop?

tell me about your watering regement?
    how often?

can you show us the roots...?

go ahead and lower that 400 watt hps a little.. you have plenty of fans from the looks of it..

Are you maintaining your ph at 6.5?

they look hungry.. I can't tell if that is the picture or if they are really really light green? but they look a bit hungry..

    what's your PPM?

    : )

    WTF, WHY the Droop?

do you keep that door open all the time or is it closed?

Without ventilation, the heat alone could cause them too droop...and it is alot hotter on the hps side...

    WTF, WHY the Droop?

Droop can be a lot of things.

Normally too much water, but I don't know if this is possible with hydro. Is the nute level higher in one container? And why are they the same? You want different nutes for flower than veg. Oh wait, I guess you're not flowering since the plants are so small. The light threw me, it's normally used for flowering. That alone though shouldn't make the plants droop, I don't think so anyway.

Also too much heat. Temps should be below 90, but I've heard of good results with temps as high as 104. Sounds like that's not the problem. If it's too much heat from the light, the outermost leaves will start to turn brown and eventually the whole leaf will die. You want your light as close as possible with out putting the plants above 90, except when they are first starting out. As far away as you have it, I expect you could move it closer within the first few days. If you want to rule out the light as the problem you could try switching them and see if there is a difference.

I suppose the plants might not like vegging nutes with flowering lights, but I haven't experimented with this or heard about it. I know that often when the leaf edges and tips start to yellow (as I see in your picture) it is often a nute problem. Too much or little magnesium I think.

    Good luck.

Oh yeah, fluctuations in PH will cause droop too. Bad fluctuations will cause yellowing and death.

    WTF, WHY the Droop?

Ok i moved the 3 plants on the 400 HPS side to the left side with the 125 floro, and there is an unmistakeable improvement. they have popped up and are liking that light better.
Here are the roots for the front 3 very healthy roots i think.
My rez is NOT light proofed very well, im thinking about gettting a different rez. one that will be easier to LP.
These containers have a drawer and some light leeks inbetween the pots also.
My nute regime is GH but I only put 5ml of micro grow and bloom in there, as they are still young and I dont wanna make them toxic. Check that, i put an additional 15 ml of micro in the right rez , cuz i thought they might be wanting more N. But since i put them in the left rez they have improved
