Is marijuana addictive? Personal experience

Ya Horror I hear you on that, its not like I need it, is just that sober life is SO fucking boreing, ecpesically when your alone, like with friends you can still have fun sober but pot would make it 10x more fun. And when I said I start like feindin for something its just that I want a lift of some kind out of sobriety.

I think it's fine as long as you don't center your attention around it completely. Fuck, get as blazed as you want! Just have something planned to do for afterwards so you don't sit around and base your enjoyment on the high.

As Dr. Drew and countless others have said, an addiction is an obsession that interferes with your responsibilities and relationships.

That's totaly true. People say pot isn't addictive because it isn't physically adictive, which is bullshit. If you've ever known a compulsive gambler you know that even things that don't involve physical substances at all can be very addictive.

But pot isn't physicaly addictive, which in my mind is more dangerous than mental addiction. If you try to quit or cut down on the pot smoking, you won't have undergo physical pain. You'll just have to reorient your life so you don't need the pot any more.

For me, if pot starts keeping you from doing things you want to or should be doing, or if you can't have fun without pot anymore, you may be mentaly addicted. That's when I take a month off.

Weed isn't physically addictive. Psychological dependence is expected though (You'll feel as though normal life is dull, like weed is your escape from problems and boredom), but that's all in the mind. It sucks not being stoned after awhile of constant use. I haven't had weed in two days after smoking every day for nearly a week straight, so I'm a bit down, but no life-threating withdrawal effects can occur.

It is not addicting for me at all

The only times I'm ever like "OMG I need some weed RIGHT now" is when I am absolutely bored outta my mind at night time when there is nothing to do, because being high and bored beats being bored!

im a habitual personality..so ive been smokin daily ALL DAY for almost a year now.......and when i try to stop..it wont feel normal cuz MY normal is smoking everyday lol
